As your property managers, we are aware of the impact that COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is having on our local communities. We understand that many of our residents have lost their jobs, been put on leave, or have had hours severely cut back due to the shutdown and/or reduced services of restaurants, gyms, venues and many other businesses.
We have created this page with updates on the latest rental assistance resources for our residents. Please know that we are here for you, and will be updating you on any operational or policy changes as the crisis unfolds.

COVID-19 Rent Payment Questionnaire
If you are a Wheelhouse Apartments resident, and if for any reasons connected to the coronavirus, you have lost your job or had your work hours significantly reduced, please fill out our COVID-19 Rent Payment Questionnaire. Federal Economic Impact Payments
As a result of the recently signed CARES Act, the majority of Americans will start to see some financial relief in April through economic impact payments being issued by the Internal Revenue Service. The payments, also referred to by some as stimulus payments, are automatic for most taxpayers. No further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees. You can check the status of your payment at the following website:

The Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance program (TRUA) offers resources to Denver residents who are facing a housing crisis or hardship to help prevent eviction or displacement. This assistance is for Denver residents only.

Colorado Unemployment Benefits
Colorado unemployment benefits may be available to workers who have lost their job through no fault of their own. You will need your Social Security number, valid ID and employer information, including hours worked and rate of pay.

To support the significant number of individuals seeking to file unemployment claims online, the State of Colorado has asked people to file on certain days based on their last names:

If your last name begins with the letter A – M, file a claim on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, or after 12 noon on Saturday.

If your last name begins with the letter N – Z, file a claim on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or before 12 noon on Saturday.

Resident Relief Foundation
If you are a Colorado resident who is delinquent on April and/or May rent, and needs help paying rent, please contact the Resident Relief Foundation for financial assistance. Rental relief is available to qualifying residents on a first-come, first-served basis. In partnership with the Colorado Apartment Association.
